Abstract: The terahertz band holds great potential for post-5G wireless communications owing to its vast underexplored spectral resources. Recently, we have experimentally demonstrated terahertz all-dielectric antennas that involve effective medium, entirely implemented on a silicon platform. The antennas possess broad bandwidth, high efficiency, and high radiation gain, which are key ingredients for point-to-point terahertz links. In this report, we extend the study to polarization dependence of the all-dielectric antennas. Numerical results show that the antennas can maintain their performance in both polarizations, even though they were specifically designed for a single linear polarization. The attainable gain for both linear polarizations is greater than 20 dBi within the bandwidth between 300 - 400 GHz or 28% relative bandwidth.
