Abstract: | In this article, various features of the array package are described and used to create an environment that typesets tabular material with exactly square-shaped cells (useful in showing, for example, magic squares of numbers in which all rows, columns and diagonals sum to an equal value). Along the way, some intermediate-level concepts in LaTeX programming are also shown. This article should be of interest to anyone who would like to read about the process of constructing new macros in LaTeX. |
