Abstract: | Most patients with epistaxis present with bleeding (or a history of bleeding) from the anterior nasal septum. This area is easily accessible, and emergency physicians or GPs should be able to manage epistaxis from this area. Patients with posterior bleeds should be referred to an ENT surgeon for management. |
