Abstract: | This paper experimentally evaluates the dynamic range of a digital radar at L-band employing both direct digital synthesis and direct RF sampling, thus minimizing analogue components. Noise-like radar waveforms and pulse to pulse waveform agility are utilized to improve the signal to noise ratio and reduce the sidelobe levels to improve the dynamic range of the radar system. |
