Abstract: Colour hues are known to trigger instinctive reactions and thus affect the behaviour. The purpose of this study was to analyse of how hues influence the fractal geometry of EEG waves. Green showed the highest fractal dimension whereas magenta exhibited the lowest one. The difference was significant at p<0.05. Due to the established effect of different hues on fractal dimensions of EEG waves, colours can be used to influence the cortical activity independent of the colour-specific reactions.
