Abstract: | Tuned vibration neutralisers and absorbers provide an effective method of attenuating tonal vibration within a structure. If the frequency of the tonal vibration alters, then an adaptive tuned vibration neutraliser or absorber can be utilised to track and adapt to changes in the frequency of the source vibration. This paper provides an overview of the development of adaptive tuned vibration neutralisers and absorbers. |
