Abstract: | This chapter will review the features of wound healing that may be used to routinely assist with determining the age of an injury. Incised wounds, bruises, burns, and fractures are covered. It is acknowledged that wounds may not exhibit expected temporal changes, and reasons for this are given. Finally, a practical approach is suggested. |
